I decided to try Ubuntu linux for my home desktop. I never tried on Ubuntu before and I installed Centos previously. I have to admit that I am hooked to it and decided not to purchase Windows Xp license.
I can do most things on Ubuntu for example
P2P – Limewire (Yay!)
Globetrotter 3G – I am using my Maxis3g with Ubuntu!
Watching DVD – VLC
Word processing – With Openoffice
Surfing – Firefox
IM – Pidgin

Plus tonnes more.. Yay Ubuntu rocks
